Gathering feedback early in the term provides an opportunity for faculty to gauge how their class is progressing, identify concerns, and connect with students. This is also a good opportunity to begin discussing what effective feedback looks like.

End-of-term Teaching Surveys
Fall 2022 surveys open: Nov. 21 – Dec. 11.
- Mark your calendars now and add survey dates to your syllabus.
- The option to add custom questions will be open Nov. 1-20.
- Plan to schedule class time for students to complete surveys.
- Talk to your students about the value of their feedback and how it’s used.
Increasing Students Engagement with OMET Surveys
Getting students to respond and offer meaningful feedback on surveys can be challenging. It’s important to communicate how valuable student feedback is and how it’s used. It’s also important to provide students with resources for giving professional and effective feedback.
