Instructional Compassion & Equity
Compassion and equity help foster resilience and respect for one another, especially in times of distress. Your students will benefit from knowing that you not only understand high-quality course content, but that you recognize that it is impossible to know exactly what each student’s life is like right now. Visit our Resources for Teaching page to learn about five instructional compassion and equity reminders for faculty, in order to show students you care while we operate under the Flex@Pitt instructional model.

Special Edition: Request A Midterm Course Survey

Request A Midterm Course Survey
Faculty may request a Midterm Course Survey until Feb. 18. These surveys offer a unique opportunity for faculty to generate feedback from students early in the term, so that necessary changes can be made to the course while it's still in session. You can request a survey through the Teaching Survey Dashboard. Hundreds of Pitt faculty have administered Midterm Course Surveys in previous terms and provided feedback on why it's such a valuable process. You can find more information about these surveys in the OMET section of our website.
