    • 10-11 a.m., Beatrice (therapy cat)
    • 11-Noon, Olive (therapy dog)
    • 1-2 p.m., Reuben (therapy rabbit)

    • 11-Noon, Reuben (therapy rabbit)
  • Thursday, April 26:

Registration is now open for the Provost's Diversity Institute for Faculty Development. The program offers faculty the opportunity to increase awareness about diversity and develop the skills needed to teach in a diverse, multicultural environment. Whether it's expanding your diversity mindfulness in classroom discussions or designing learning activities that incorporate a variety of perspectives, this institute is appropriate for full- and part-time faculty that want to deepen their teaching practice. All faculty are invited and can sign up on the Diversity Institute's web page.

SensuAccess logo - a service for creating accessible digital content.

Teaching Center Update, March 30, 2018

The University of Pittsburgh has partnered with SensusAccess to offer a file converter tool that makes inaccessible documents (such as Word or PDF files) into more accessible media (such as searchable PDFs, audio MP3 files, Braille, or e-text). SensusAccess is available to all Pitt faculty, staff, students, and alumni that have an active University email address.
