October marks the middle of the regular fall semester. Many instructors may be concerned about mid-term testing and material coverage. As we tackle those important mid-semester tasks, it is often a good idea to get some feedback from students about how the course is going. Read about the benefits of mid-semester teaching surveys in an article authored by Teaching Center staff in this week's University Times.
We’d like to congratulate Cressida Magaro (instructional technologist, LMS Support and Consulting), Brittany Page (media producer, Academic Digital Media), and Bobby Ackerman (manager, LMS Support and Consulting) for earning the Teaching Center’s 2018 Advancing Educational Excellence award! The annual honor recognizes Teaching Center staff members who exemplify the values of the center, demonstrate a positive attitude and commit to responsibilities, and make above-and-beyond contributions to the University. Congratulations on a successful year and thank you for your exceptional dedication to the center!
