Sarah works with the Educational Consulting Software team as a temporary consultant. She works with faculty to provide an additional level of hands on support during Pitt’s Canvas transition, providing expertise directly to faculty during consultations, as well as working on content for the Teaching Center Help Resources site. Sarah has a background in teaching and technology in higher education. Most recently Sarah taught Spanish courses at the University of Akron, where she also developed and taught fully-online, asynchronous versions of Spanish 101 and 102, the university’s first fully online language courses. She has a Master’s in Spanish Language/Literature from American University in Washington, DC, and is currently working on her doctorate in Spanish Language Teaching from Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT.
