Better known by her last name, Speed leads the creative force that is the Teaching Center’s media production team to create academic and instructional digital media. As a producer and content creator, her portfolio of international video work for corporate and broadcast clients spans two decades and has been recognized with two Emmy Awards (’06, ’20) among other honors. As an educator, she’s taught media topics at all levels, including as founding adjunct faculty for Pitt’s undergraduate broadcasting curriculum. Speed completed her BA in nonfiction writing and communications at Pitt, and holds a master’s degree in education from Point Park University.
