Alec Sarkas is the graphic designer in Communication and Outreach, part of the University Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Pittsburgh. Sarkas designs/illustrates a wide variety of educational visuals for Pitt faculty and staff; creates promotional items for Teaching Center events. Sarkas graduated from Kutztown University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in communication design, joining the Teaching Center in 1997. This graphic designer has been with Pitt for over 20 years. Fun facts: musical genre of choice is EDM; can quite possibly be the biggest Star Wars fan this side of the galaxy.
