The Committee, which will coordinate with the Faculty Senate and includes faculty, staff, and student members. Its charge is to “explore the potential uses and abuses of this rapidly evolving new tool.” The Committee is tasked with providing a report to the Provost and Senior Vice-Chancellor for Research that will contain specific recommendations for faculty guidance in teaching and research, and for how Pitt should move forward in terms of process, policy, and long-term strategy.
