Understanding and Using Spring 2023 Midterm Survey Results

Early student feedback can provide insights about what’s working in the class and where adjustments might be helpful. Small changes can have big impacts and when change isn’t possible, students appreciate knowing why. Using the feedback to generate discussion shows students you’re listening and are genuinely concerned about their learning experience.

  • Results are available on the teaching survey dashboard one day after surveys close.
  • We have resources for coding responses and making sense of confusing or conflicting feedback.
  • Close the loop. Share and discuss the results with students. Use visual aids to display results and talk about changes that can be made and what can’t be changed and why.
  • Request a consultation to assist with interpreting results and developing a plan.
