Registration is now open for the Provost's Diversity Institute for Faculty Development. The program offers faculty the opportunity to increase awareness about diversity and develop the skills needed to teach in a diverse, multicultural environment. Whether it's expanding your diversity mindfulness in classroom discussions or designing learning activities that incorporate a variety of perspectives, this institute is appropriate for full- and part-time faculty that want to deepen their teaching practice. All faculty are invited and can sign up on the Diversity Institute's web page.
The Teaching Center has a number of resources available to assist instructors with Pitt's transition to the Canvas Learning Management System. Visit our Canvas @ Pitt web pages to learn more about this transition and to sign up for one of our January workshops. Canvas will become the University's sole learning management system at the start of the summer 2020 term.
