The University of Pittsburgh will host the fourth annual Diversity Retreat: Instituting a Culture of Inclusion in Alumni Hall on June 25. The event will feature an array of engaging workshops, roundtable discussions, poster presentations, a community panel session, and featured presentations that outline how we can foster an equitable, just, and inclusive campus community. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. The retreat is free to attend, but seating is limited and registration will close when capacity is met. The Open Lab at Hillman is a new makerspace for virtual reality exploration, 3D printing demonstrations, and project consultation in Hillman Library’s Digital Scholarship Commons. Along with the Teaching Center’s Open Lab in Alumni Hall, this location is a campus resource to explore emerging technologies and exploratory learning through making.
