Faculty Seminars are educational experiences designed exclusively for faculty to deepen and enrich their teaching practice by focusing on an aspect of their teaching. The learning communities operate as a cohort and give faculty access to a community of practice that nurtures their teaching while focusing on research-guided principles. Teaching surveys begin April 2, so now is the time to start planning for the survey period! Here are some tips from the Office of Measurement and Evaluation of Teaching to get you and your students prepared.
- You may customize your survey by adding questions. Check our Question Library for a comprehensive list of custom questions you can add to your survey.
- Plan now to allow class time for students to take the survey. Look for days and times between April 2 and April 22 to give students the opportunity to complete their surveys.
Our next Teaching Partners meeting is Friday, March 23, from noon - 1:30 p.m., at the University Club (Ballroom A). Lunch will be provided. This community now contains faculty from as many as 40 different schools and disciplines. You can join the conversation and sign up for the March meeting on our Teaching Partners page.
