Call for Proposals: Innovation in Education Awards
The Provost’s Advisory Council on Instructional Excellence (ACIE) invites full- and part-time university faculty to submit project proposals that foster new instructional approaches or techniques that advance student learning. This year's call encourages faculty to explore experiential or active learning that supports equitable and inclusive learning environments or technology-enhanced learning. Applicants can contact us for consultation regarding the development and feasibility of their proposals prior to submission. Please email email@example.com or call 412-624-3335 to make an appointment. All proposals must be submitted through the Innovation in Education Application by Feb. 18, 2022.
Returning This Year: Innovation in Education Awards
The Innovation in Education Awards will resume during the 2021-2022 academic year after a one-year pause. This award, sponsored by the Provost’s Advisory Council on Instructional Excellence (ACIE), recognizes faculty for projects that enhance teaching at Pitt and foster new instructional approaches that represent advances over existing methods. We will announce details in the official call for proposals next week.
