The University of Pittsburgh has partnered with SensusAccess to offer a file converter tool that makes inaccessible documents (such as Word or PDF files) into more accessible media (such as searchable PDFs, audio MP3 files, Braille, or e-text). SensusAccess is available to all Pitt faculty, staff, students, and alumni that have an active University email address.
The schedule for the 2020 Provost's Diversity Institute for Faculty Development has been announced and registration is now open. This event offers Pitt faculty the opportunity to increase awareness about diversity and develop skills needed to teach in a diverse, multicultural environment. The first session takes place on May 13.
