Registration is now open for the Provost's Diversity Institute for Faculty Development. The program offers faculty the opportunity to increase awareness about diversity and develop the skills needed to teach in a diverse, multicultural environment. Whether it's expanding your diversity mindfulness in classroom discussions or designing learning activities that incorporate a variety of perspectives, this institute is appropriate for full- and part-time faculty that want to deepen their teaching practice. All faculty are invited and can sign up on the Diversity Institute's web page.
The Open Lab at Hillman is a new makerspace for virtual reality exploration, 3D printing demonstrations, and project consultation in Hillman Library’s Digital Scholarship Commons. Along with the Teaching Center’s Open Lab in Alumni Hall, this location is a campus resource to explore emerging technologies and exploratory learning through making.
