The Center for Diversity in the Curriculum is hosting a new workshop: Understanding our Students: Financial Challenges & Instructional Choices. The session will be moderated by Dr. Erika Gold Kestenberg, associate director of Educator Development and Practice at the Center for Urban Education, and Dr. Waverly Duck, urban ethnographer at the School of Sociology's Center on Race and Social Problems.
The Provost’s Diversity Institute for Faculty Development will take place April 29 - June 12, and offers University of Pittsburgh faculty the opportunity to increase awareness about diversity and develop skills needed to teach in a diverse, multicultural environment.
