Studio and On-Location Recordings

Have you ever considered enhancing your course with video?

Our media production team can help you enhance or supplement your teaching and learning delivery with professional video that will engage your audience like never before. Whether we’re recording in our studio or somewhere on Pitt’s campuses, we use high-quality cameras and editing software to deliver you a polished, professional multimedia asset that you can use for all of your teaching needs. Media producers have years of experience in instructional, educational, and broadcast video production and can bring your vision to life through consultation and production.

Types of Video

We can assist with a wide variety of multimedia assets that support your teaching needs. Categories include:

  • Audio/Video Recording or Editing: Create or improve a video/audio asset for general use.
  • Event Highlights: We’ll interview and collect footage as your event unfolds and create a short highlight video with a specific focus.
  • Flipped Classroom: Create lectures in advance so students can view prior to class to create deeper, more thoughtful in-person discussions.
  • Informational: Record an instructional video that complements what students are learning in class, or provides supplemental information on a topic not addressed in class.
  • Motion Graphics: Design a video made entirely of graphics, with no human subjects on screen at any time.
  • Online Course Lecture: Produce a video series for fully online courses registered in PeopleSoft.
  • Pitt Online: Work with a Pitt Online instructional designer to create videos for your modules that support the course’s learning objectives.
  • Promotional: Showcase a new course, departmental or University accomplishment, a groundbreaking invention, grant-supported research, etc.
  • Recruitment: Tell prospective students about Pitt’s positive impact and how they can contribute to it.
