We’re eager to hear your questions, comments, and concerns about the transition to the Canvas. We have set up several request forms to help us address inquiries as quickly as possible, so please take a moment to review the options below. Direct support from Canvas is available 24/7 for all faculty and students, via chat, phone and email. The chat can be launched from within Canvas by clicking on the help menu, and the direct phone number is (412) 314-1719. 

Canvas demo course request:  Demo courses have been created for all faculty and teaching assistants, and can be accessed via canvas.pitt.edu. If you do not have a demo course but would like one, you can arrange it with this form. You can also use this form if you need a space to develop course content in preparation for the transition.  Please note that demo courses are only for demonstration and content development and cannot be used to begin teaching with Canvas before the 2207 summer term.

Blackboard content import request: Please use this request form if you need assistance importing content from Blackboard that is not covered by the bulk content migration plan. This process is currently in progress and will include all terms between the summer 2018 term (2187) and the upcoming spring 2020 term (2204). All courses that were active during those terms in Blackboard are included. 

Consultation or group training request: If you would like to request a Canvas-related consultation or custom group training, you can do so with this form. 

Canvas integration request: Many 3rd-party tools such as Panopto and Top Hat are already integrated with Canvas, and the latest list is covered on our other integrated tech tools page. For anything not already available or in progress, you can begin the evaluation process by submitting this form. 

General Canvas Request/Feedback form: This form can be used for inquiries not covered by the specific forms above.
