Recommendations

The Pitt Online team of instructional designers and technologists identified nine common instructional accessibility tasks and ranked them according to the potential benefit provided to the students and the level of effort required to implement. The result is the Impact/Effort Matrix .

While every one of the activities is important, and even critical to some portion of your student population, we recommend starting with the High Impact/Low Effort tasks as a way of achieving some quick wins and familiarizing yourself with the process of developing instructional materials.
