Lorin Grieve, PharmD, will facilitate a Game Design workshop co-sponsored by the School of Pharmacy and the Teaching Center on Thursday, November 8. In this workshop, Dr. Grieve will explain the process of iterative game design with a focus on application to learning environments. Combining instructional design with game design can create experiences that enhance a learner’s knowledge or skills. We are pleased to offer a new workshop from the Center for Mentoring, entitled Mentoring Faculty: A Facilitated Panel, on Thursday, October 25, starting at noon. This session will address topics such as the role mentoring plays in the career trajectory of faculty, how to be a better mentor, and how faculty can find the right mentors at the right time. Professor Anne Robertson from the Swanson School of Engineering will facilitate the session, hosted in 211 David Lawrence Hall.
