Students, staff, and faculty are all welcome to take advantage of this space's specialized equipment and staff, who provide training and expert guidance.
Our newest addition to the Media Creation Lab is a Lightboard that allows you to face forward while writing — giving students a clear view of your written words, speaking, and gesturing. Instead of writing on the board with your back to the camera, you can face forward and not lose momentum as you diagram concepts or illustrations during your lecture. You are welcome to experiment with the Lightboard and any other technology in the Media Creation Lab and you can reserve time using our online form.

The Provost’s Award for Diversity in the Curriculum formally recognizes the efforts of faculty to integrate diversity and inclusion into their courses and curriculum. Sponsored by the Office of the Provost and the University Center for Teaching and Learning, the award recognizes excellence in areas such as updated curriculum, expanded cultural awareness, development of teaching methods that are especially inclusive and interactive, consciously created learning environments that are welcoming and inclusive, and other changes that positively impact aspects of diversity and inclusion in the classroom.
