Blackboard has introduced new mobile apps for Instructors and Students replacing the original MobileLearn app. The new Blackboard app is optimized for students and the new Blackboard Instructor app is optimized for Instructors wishing to view content and grade assessments on their mobile devices. Look for both in your preferred app store.
Based on the title, and Wieman’s reputation in the field, my expectations were that this would be a book about using best practices for teaching science at the undergraduate level, and lots of data – both quantitative and qualitative – to back up the conclusions. I was disappointed to discover that I was mistaken.
